Halle Berry is taking her ex Olivier Martinez back to court regarding their ongoing custody arrangement for their son.
The 58-year-old Catwoman actress filed papers requesting sole custody over the upbringing and medical decisions of her 10-year-old son, Maceo.
In her filing, the Oscar winner and her attorneys allege that Martinez, 58, refuses to address the boy’s learning and behavioral issues, according to documents seen by TMZ.
Berry claims the Infiel actor’s “turbulent behavior” and his prioritizing his son’s soccer education over school has caused Maceo to fall behind his classmates.
She also alleged that Martinez refused to get her son a tutor because it would interfere with soccer practice.

The Moonfall actress also claims that her ex is venting to their son about the conflicts occurring between their parents, putting his spin on it, and that after Maceo spends an extended period of time with his father, he comes back angry and combative.
Ultimately, she wants the judge to grant her the “ability to make decisions related to education and therapy.”
The former couple met in 2010 on the set of the film Dark Tide in South Africa.
At the time, the actress was going through an unpleasant breakup with her ex-partner Gabriel Aubrey, with whom she had a 16-year-old daughter, Nahla.
They married in 2013 and welcomed Maceo in 2014, but announced they were parting ways two years later.
The main dispute in the divorce was custody of their son, which was eventually settled in 2023. Court documents stated that Martinez would receive $8,000 a month in child support and 4.3 percent of the actress’s income above $2 million.
It would also cover all of Maceo’s medical expenses, health insurance, school tuition and extracurricular costs.
The agreement also provided that her son would attend individual and family therapy.

This comes after Berry lost her bid to force Martinez to attend co-parenting therapy to resolve conflicts surrounding their son earlier this month.
Berry had claimed Martinez was trying to delay agreed-upon co-parenting therapy to “take the summer off,” but according to court documents obtained by Online radarA judge rejected the actress’s bid, citing a “lack of compelling circumstances.”
The couple agreed to attend therapy in May to “resolve disputes and conflicts between them in an effort to successfully co-parent” their son, but according to court documents obtained by TMZ, Berry claims her ex decided to delay the sessions until September so he could take the “summer off,” without consulting her or her therapist.
She says she missed the July sessions to travel to her native France and wants to cancel the August sessions because of her brother’s visit.
The actress wanted a judge to force him to comply with the schedule set out in the agreement. She also says that since therapy sessions are conducted via Zoom, Martinez cannot use the trip as an excuse.
The star said the six joint sessions were due to be completed by June 14.
According to Radar, Berry’s legal team had claimed that Martinez’s absence from therapy was hindering her son’s “development and best interests,” with Berry claiming that Martinez “continually” involves Maceo in their arguments, leading him to “act out against her.”
Berry alleges that the Infiel actor is putting his son’s football ahead of his education and that he is falling behind in school. She also says that Maceo returns from his father’s house angry and combative.
Martinez’s team responded by arguing that Berry is “constantly attempting to exert pressure (on him) into ‘submission’ using his wealth and the legal professionals at his disposal.”
His attorney added that Maceo “faced no immediate harm” and argued that Berry decided to file the request when he “knew” Martinez would be traveling, and that Berry’s request did not qualify for an emergency order.
