The revelation comes almost a month after Gypsy and Ken announced the big news of their pregnancy on their YouTube channel.

“I’m 11 weeks pregnant,” she said in the video. “Ken and I are expecting our first child, due in January 2025.”

“We are very excited. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected.”

Blanchard announced her split from husband Ryan Scott Anderson in March, and said she got back together with Ken Urker, 31, the following month.

Gypsy was released from the Chillicothe Correctional Facility in Missouri in December 2023, after serving the mandatory seven years of her 10-year sentence for conspiring to kill her mother, Dee Dee.

Before her release in December, Gypsy revealed to People that she planned to marry Ryan, a special education teacher in Louisiana, for a second time once she was a free woman.

“We’re planning on having a reception or a new wedding with all our family and friends, and the dress, the cake and everything else, because we deserve it. I deserve it. He deserves it,” she said.

“Our prison wedding was just a chance to say our vows. It was something that meant something to us. And I think the party is for everyone else and for us, but most of all for everyone else.”

Blanchard cried in her video as she said she hopes to give her son “all the things I wish I had when I was little.”

She also shared that she has been experiencing “crazy mood swings.”

Blanchard and her ex-husband Anderson married while she was in prison, but their relationship fell apart just weeks after her release.

Anderson told DailyMail.com that Blanchard’s divorce filing caught him by surprise and he blamed her relationship with Urker.

“I’m not doing very well. For me, it was something that came out of the blue,” he said.

“I had no idea she still had such strong feelings for him,” she added, referring to Blanchard’s ex-fiancé, Urker.

Initially, after her split from Anderson, Blanchard insisted that Urker was just a friend and that “there was no intimacy.”

While behind bars, Gypsy continued to cultivate a relationship with Urker, who struck up a dialogue with the then-prisoner in 2019 through a “letter of support” he wrote after watching the HBO documentary Mommy Dead And Dearest.

They later became pen pals, which led to a romantic relationship. The two were engaged for a short time before the relationship failed.

In 2020, Blanchard found a second romantic prospect in Anderson, who, like Ken, wrote to her while she was in prison.

The two tied the knot in a private ceremony that took place at Confines prison in 2022 before their separation in March.

Blanchard’s traumatic childhood and youth have provided the subject of documentaries, films, books and countless articles in magazines, newspapers and websites.

In what has become one of the most well-known cases of Munchausen by proxy, Blanchard spent her childhood posing as a wheelchair-bound invalid while Dee Dee subjected her to years of poor health, shaving her head, pumping her full of unnecessary medications and convincing the world that she suffered from leukemia and muscular dystrophy.

Blanchard’s mother’s rule came to an end in 2015, when she convinced the boyfriend she had met online, Nicholas Godejohn, to break into her home in Springfield, Missouri, and stab her mother to death.
