The star took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a sweet photo of himself along with a lengthy caption about his self-esteem.
She spoke candidly about how she struggled with her “confidence” and “self-worth” in a lengthy caption alongside the childhood snapshot.
“A sweet little boy who had very little confidence, lacked self-esteem, had abusive self-talk, didn’t believe he had anything to offer, and didn’t believe he was capable of becoming much,” the caption read.
He began his career as a news reporter in regional New South Wales before landing a weather presenting job on Seven’s relaunched Sunrise program in 2004.

‘Today, big Grant is very proud of little Grant. For not giving up or giving in to that chronic insecurity and paralyzing lack of faith in yourself. Good boy,’ he gushed.
‘It’s hard to achieve good things when you don’t love yourself. I thought self-love was a bad thing, selfish and disgustingly indulgent. Now I know that you can’t love anyone or anything without loving yourself first.
‘So be kind to yourself, little one. “You were doing the best you could with what you had at the time,” the game show host continued.
