In May 2018, he told Daily Mail Australia that he was focused on the future.

“Now I’m going to live my best life and I’m going to do everything I can to make sure I’m living my dreams and not just sitting there and waiting for someone else to tell me I can do this now,” she said.

Stan is continuing his music career after winning Australian Idol in 2009, when he was just 18 years old.

She beat the rock chick runner-up, Hayley Warner.
