The iconic Nineties pop star released his first new single in 12 years, Get A Hold Of Yourself, and mimicked the scene where Barry’s character Oliver Quick dances naked around the mansion at the end of the film for the racy video.

“I discovered everything in this video and I thought, ‘Fuck it, I’m having fun’. What I will say is that it’s based on the last scene in Saltburn.”

Chesney revealed that his children – Casey, 23, Jesse, 21, and Indi, 18, whom he has with wife Kristina – laughed off the nude video as a “midlife crisis” for their father.

“There was a lot of laughter and a bit of embarrassment, but they didn’t care,” she confessed.

“I have an 18-year-old, a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old. They all think, ‘It’s just Dad doing his thing, having fun, having a midlife crisis.'”

Meanwhile, Chesney believes his new single may surprise some of his fans as it has a “dance feel” to it.

He explained: “It has a dancey feel to it, which I guess might surprise people. What I wanted was for people to hear it on the radio and say, ‘Is that Chesney Hawkes?'”

Chesney last released music in 2012 when he released his third studio album, Real Life Love.

He is best known for his first single The One And Only, written by Nik Kershaw. The song was number one in the UK for five weeks and even reached the top-10 of the US charts.

In April, Chesney revealed he had squandered £8.2m after achieving such huge success at just 19 years old.

Talking about the My dirty laundry podcastChesney revealed he felt “completely exhausted” due to his “crazy” lifestyle.

Admitting he can relate to fellow stars Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran, he urges young people in the industry to “be careful and make sure they don’t burn out like he did”.

Chesney admitted: “When I first did it, I did the typical thing of blowing everything up. I bought a state-of-the-art studio. I bought a car for everyone in my family. So yeah, we had fun.”
