As organizers blamed the cost of living crisis, concertgoers flocked to the comments of the festival’s Instagram post on Wednesday to blame the lineup of artists.
With artists like Australian rock band Jet, Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA, and indie pop star Jessie Reyez in attendance, many fans were surprisingly disappointed.
“Maybe next year we’ll come back with a real lineup and people will think it’s a real festival,” one person wrote.
Another added: ‘Do you remember when you were making headlines for Billie Eilish before Covid? Now look at this lineup again. Since Covid it has not been the same. Admit it.’

‘Bro, maybe because there wasn’t even a headliner. “I loved a lot of the bands that attended, but there are so many better festivals for the same price,” said a third.
Another commented: “God, horrible lineup and no one knew who was headlining so not a big surprise.”
Despite the influx of criticism over this year’s music lineup, many fans went toe-to-toe with the detractors and defended the artists’ choices.
One person said: “Maybe if people weren’t so spoiled by the festival lineup and just appreciated a collection of good artists.”
“The lineup was AMAZING, you guys in the comments have no taste,” someone else wrote.

Groovin the Moo host Carla From Bankstown added her own take on the programming, calling critics “gronks” and telling them to “grow up.”
Groovin the Moo organizers announced on Wednesday that festivals across regional Australia would not go ahead in 2024, citing poor ticket sales.
The traveling festival was due to appear in cities including Wayville, Canberra, Bendigo, Newcastle, Bunbury and the Sunshine Coast between April 25 and May 11.

‘Ticket sales have not been enough to organize a regional festival of this type. “All tickets will be automatically refunded,” the post said.

Tickets had only been on sale for just over a week before the shocking announcement.
The festival has brought some incredible superstars to country music lovers in recent years, including Billie Eilish, Alt-J, Gang of Youths and Spiderbait.

This year the festival would feature Australian sensations including iconic rock bands Jet, DMA’s, The Grogans, Jungle Giants, King Stingray and The Rions.
Indie pop group San Cisco were also scheduled to take to the stage alongside Melbourne soul singer JACOTÉNE and rapper Mallrat.
Rapper Nerve would arrive with his friends ECB and Chloe Terare, while DJs Alison Wonderland and Hot Dub Time Machine were set on the turntables.
American stars included Wu-Tang’s GZA with his group Phunky Nomads, as well as rapper Armani White, Claire Rosinkranz and Stephen Sanchez.
Rock band The Beaches and singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez were flying in from Canada, while Kenya Grace and The Kooks were arriving from the UK.
Sporty Spice Melanie C was supposed to land in Australia for the traveling festival to prove she still has some amazing pipes.
Meanwhile, electronic music producers Meduza from Italy and Mura Masa from Guernsey brought their unique vibes to the show.
Groovin the Moo was to be hosted by Australian drag queen Carla From Bankstown and Sydney DJ Mowgli May.
