The Google Pixel 7A is WIRED’s top Android smartphone recommendation for most people (8/10, WIRED recommends). The MSRP of this phone is $499, and while its price often fluctuates, this is the best deal we’ve tracked. It offers excellent performance, a great camera system, a wonderfully bright and sharp 90Hz OLED display, plus wireless charging support. You will receive two more Android operating system updates and four more years of security updates. That’s a lot of phone for just $350, and I haven’t even mentioned many of the smart software features that make these Pixels so useful to use or the excellent camera system.

The Google Pixel Watch 2 (7/10, WIRED recommended) makes several major improvements over the original Pixel Watch and is a worthy consideration if you’re looking for a new smartwatch (works with any Android phone, but not iPhone). Speaking of which, there’s reliable heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, an electrocardiogram, and fall detection. It also helps that it’s gorgeous: it’s one of the prettiest smartwatches you can buy right now.
