This is the touching moment when a family says goodbye to their beloved grandfather by putting his ashes in fireworks.
Paige Anderson, of Petersfield, gathered with her family on a nearby beach to commemorate the life of her grandfather Tom.
His ashes were stuck to the fireworks with Vaseline before being released as the sun set over the sea.
Poignant images show fireworks rising over ocean views and lighting up the sky in shades of red and orange.
Mrs Anderson said: “Our whole family were very close to him. “We all have so many individual memories with him it is just incredible.

“He used to call me Croc because he used to tell me that crocodiles lived at the bottom of his garden when I was little.”
Always wanting a Viking funeral, the family realized this was not possible and decided this was a suitable substitute.
Mrs Anderson added: “He used to say he wanted a Viking burial, which is obviously very illegal now and he liked fireworks so they thought this would be the best option.”
“We considered doing it with a company, but it was quite expensive and he was very thrifty with his money, so he would have told us to do it ourselves.”
“The fireworks were covered with Vaseline and then dipped in the ashes, so the ashes covered the top of the fireworks.”
‘The only way we could think of to do it, and it worked! Extremely meaningful, we all felt like he was there with us and it was the most emotional way to say goodbye.
“It’s not for everyone, but it really is a wonderful send-off.”
