A GoGet driver was filmed driving into two cars on a busy highway before speeding away as other motorists look on in shock.

The rental van crashed into the back of a car that had stopped at an intersection in Newport, south-west Melbourne.

The ute was then pushed into a silver sedan in front, but when the drivers got out, the van sped down the highway without exchanging details.

Not only was the back of the ute badly damaged, but part of the van was also ripped off in the crash.

Two cronies in a truck behind the van managed to capture the collision on film, which was later shared on the popular Instagram page Brown Cardigan.

“Like he just drove off!” one hears one of them say.

“What the f**k!”

Many commenters on the video noted that the driver of the van would likely receive a hefty compensation from GoGet.

“If you rent a car by the hour, that’s the quality of driver you’re going to get,” said one.

“I bet he won’t leave it full of gas either,” said another.

GoGet allows drivers to rent a car for a specified period of time, but renters are told to contact the company immediately in the event of an accident.

“Failure to report damage is a serious violation of your agreement with us,” the company’s policy reads.

“Failure to report any damage incurred during your booking may result in you not being covered by insurance and your membership subject to review.”

GoGet has been contacted for comment.
