The three adults managed to establish a friendly co-parenting relationship, with Gisele referring to Jack as her “bonus son” and herself as his “bonus mom.”

As Jack turned 17 on Thursday, Gisele posted a sweet photo of herself holding him as a toddler, captioned: ‘Happy birthday to this sweet peanut!’
Her next post showed Jack much more recently, hugging Gisele and towering over her, despite the fact that she herself is 5’11”.
“You have grown into a beautiful, kind, amazing young man,” she wrote. “We are so lucky to have you in our lives! We love you so much.”
Gisele has previously commented that she is “so grateful” for Bridget, though she admitted that the timing of the pregnancy news “wasn’t the ideal situation for anyone; there’s no manual that prepares you for that,” via People.

“I know it was hard, but I couldn’t imagine my life without (Jack). I call him my bonus son. He opened my heart in ways I didn’t even know my heart could expand. I fell in love with him,” Gisele recalled.
Her bond with her stepson fueled her own desire to “start a family,” in part because “I wanted Jack to have a brother or sister his own age.”
Gisele and Tom announced their divorce in October 2022 after a series of reports that their marriage was on the brink of collapse.
She was said to be furious over Tom’s shocking decision to “unretire” from the NFL, just a month after he quit football to spend more time with his family.
“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, I have my kids, and I would like him to be more present. I’ve definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,” she told Elle shortly before their split became public.
“But ultimately I think everyone has to make a decision that works for them. He has to let himself be carried away by his joy as well,” Gisele added.
