She relieved stress at the facility and shot at targets with a Glock gun and then with an AK-74 assault rifle.
After a while, Motorina, who was a frequent visitor to the site, asked for a Margolin gun and one was given by instructor Smolyaninov.
But instead of continuing to shoot at targets, she aimed the gun at the instructor and put two bullets into his body, a witness said.
After Smolyaninov fell to the ground, Motorina threw her weapon away and fled the scene when the shocked shooting range personnel called for emergency services.
Paramedics arrived on the spot and confirmed that the victim was already dead.
A forensic investigation revealed that the man died on the spot after being shot in the heart and head.
