A 13-year-old girl died in a house fire on the Central Coast at night.
The house in Kincumber went up in flames just after midnight and burned well when firefighters arrived.
Officers arrived to find a mother and father and two of their children, a boy of 14 and a girl, seven, outside the house, but their oldest daughter was missing.

She was rescued from the house and treated on the spot, but died on the way to the hospital.

Early investigations suggest that the fire was not suspected and was not a consequence of the storms that hit the Central Coast and the Sydney region at night.
A report is prepared to inform the coroner.
