Popular gaming and restaurant venue ESC has announced that the business will be closing permanently.

The restaurant and bar located in Chatswood in Sydney’s north will officially close on March 29.

The venue is known for treating diners to delicious Japanese cuisine, while customers play in private game rooms on PS5 and Nintendo consoles.

ESC is understood to be launched in late 2022.

The restaurant informed customers in a pop-up message on its website of the difficult decision to close the business.

“Dear valued customers, it is with great regret that we announce the permanent closure of ESC as of March 29,” the message read.

‘Thank you for being part of this journey.’

More to come.
