We started discussing it because we were both looking at university options.

Our thinking was that when couples go monogamous, they either break up before, try to make it work but break up, or you get out on the other end and generally end up staying together for a long time.

We have a running joke that my best friend didn’t even bother writing a greeting card because they didn’t think it was going to end in marriage.
But as soon as we put an ad in the newspaper and some time passed, they got on board. Our wedding was definitely the most amazing day of our lives.
Because we were very young when we met, both of our families are also families.
All of our friends grew up together so it was an amazing day filled with true love. Zach and I have grown to suit each other better over time.

“For me, I really grew up living in London really fast, so while 18 seems so young we were old souls and marriage doesn’t stop you from going out or living your life, you do it with someone else.
“As long as you two have your heads in each other, why not give it a go?”
There’s no harm in waiting either, but I don’t think you should judge anyone else. Married life for me is happy.
“We have no regrets about getting engaged at such a young age and this is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”
