Gerard Piqué accused Shakira of not being entirely honest about their breakup in a rare interview on the subject more than two years after their split.
Shakira, 47, announced she was breaking up with the former Barcelona star in June 2022 amid rumors that he was cheating on her after 11 years and two children together.
Since then, the Colombian star called him ‘Voldemort’, among other insinuations to Piqué in his music.
Now Piqué, 37, is with Clara Chia Martí, 25, and insists he is “very happy” even if Shakira has also shot him.

In 2022, Spanish outlet El Periódico reported that the couple had been living apart for a few weeks after the pop star kicked Piqué out of the family home.
There was a theory that Shakira discovered her alleged cheating when she discovered that a jar of strawberry jam had been eaten at her house while she was away. Shakira was reportedly the only one who ate strawberry jam in the relationship.
However, the South American singer has already debunked that myth.
In the summer of 2023, Piqué reportedly moved in with Clara Chia, in the house he had shared with Shakira when she first moved to Barcelona.
