The Georgie Gardner of the Today show has tried to put the story right about her rumors of revenge with former co-host Karl Stefanovic.
In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, the 48-year-old revealed that she had had contact with Karl after he had been dumped from the program in December without mercy.
"He and I have chatted extensively, and there has certainly never been bad blood, despite what has been written, and that is certainly not there now, & # 39; she said.

Granted that she had been consulted about who should replace him, Georgie said she had nothing but admiration for Deborah Knight, 46, who debuted on Monday.
After it was announced that Deborah would enter the coveted job, many people started twittering the equality & # 39; of a completely female line up in the show.
But Georgie brushed aside these concerns, noting that it is common in the US.
