The British-American actor, known for his roles in the superhero series and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, died at the age of 27 due to a motorcycle accident, which reportedly occurred on Friday night.
The cast and producers of Prime Video’s Gen V were scheduled to gather Saturday afternoon for the show’s first season 2 table read, in preparation for filming that begins April 8 in Toronto, according to Deadline.
The creators of the series now have the task of deciding to revise the scripts to say goodbye to Perdomo’s character or find a replacement actor for the role, according to the outlet.
In the spin-off of The Boys, Perdomo played the superpowered Andre Anderson and starred alongside actors Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn.

The producers of Gen V issued a statement on Saturday following Perdomo’s tragic death. “We cannot fully understand this,” the producers wrote.
‘For those of us who knew and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer and, most of all, a very kind and charming person.
“We are so sorry to Chance’s family and mourn the loss of our friend and colleague.”
