‘Today I feel quite sad because for the last year I have been opening the windows, opening the curtains in the morning and there are the cows. And I love that,” says Jeremy.

His concern then turns to the calves and he asks them lovingly if they will be able to sleep tonight.
But Kaleb Cooper, 25, tells Jeremy that he’s the one who won’t sleep because “they’ll be calling all night.”
Clearly anxious about Pepper’s future, Charlie gives Jeremy a warning when he asks what will happen to her.

Jeremy instantly fell in love with Pepper during Clarkson’s Farm 2, when five-year-old Rosie, the daughter of his previous owner, asks him to take care of her.
He said, ‘This is my pet. Five-year-old Rosie from the farm where we bought her said this cow was her favorite.
‘She asked, “Would you look after Pepper for me?” So I said I would do it.
Later in the series, it is suggested that she be sent out for meat when a vet discovered that Pepper was not pregnant, but Jeremy snapped: “I’m not going to eat Pepper, and that’s it.”

Diddly Squat Farm becomes home to a herd of rare breed pigs, as Jeremy turns around his latest harebrained scheme to make money for the farm.
