That brought United to fourth place on three points, but their Brazilian midfielder admits that there is still much room for improvement.
Fred has admitted that Manchester United does not meet expectations this season
‘Being highlighted now is very good, but there is the other side and unfortunately the team is not [doing] as good as it could be, “he said UOL Esporte.
“We wanted to compete for the Liverpool lead, but we’re under Chelsea [and] Tottenham.
“It’s part of football and we need to know how to handle it and raise our heads because we have a very high-quality team.
‘You must be charged [to deal with pressure] because it’s a huge team. If it doesn’t work, it makes sense for the fans to talk. And it is up to us to deal with the pressure of the field. ”
Despite the disappointment on the field, Fred insists that no fingers should be pointed at boss Solskjaer.
“Solskjaer is our teacher and is doing well,” he added.
“The day to day is great and he is very important to the team because he was a player in the club’s history.”
