Frank Lampard confirms that N’Golo Kante will not be able to meet Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinals as Blues prepare for a Wembley clash without their influential midfielder
Frank Lampard has confirmed that N’Golo Kante will miss Chelsea’s FA Cup final with Manchester United this weekend.
The French international has not appeared for the Blues since he came out in the 78th minute of their Premier League win over Watford early in the month.
Lampard had previously raised hopes that the midfielder could play a part in the last four clash, after saying Kante had “a chance” to make it when he spoke of their win over Norwich.

However, the hope that he would make it has now been dashed.
“The team is fine, but N’Golo Kante is not fit for the game,” he told reporters on Friday. “We also have a few problems.”
Chelsea go from foot to toe with United in the league and cup, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men breathing the necks of those on Stamford Bridge in an effort to secure a Champions League spot.
