Four women, including two teenagers from Arizona, have been reported missing after failing to return from a family camping trip.

Tenaya Gilmore, 15, Hannah Gilmore, 17, Korie Gilmore, 24, and Shelby Berry, 25, were last seen on Thursday, March 21 near McKellips and Gilbert roads in Mesa, a city 30 minutes east of Phoenix.

Korie is Tenaya and Hannah’s older cousin, and Shelby is Korie’s partner.

The family has reportedly been unable to contact the four women, some of whom suffer from autism and anxiety, and are concerned for their well-being.

According to Jen Shawna, Tenaya and Hannah’s mother, the group left Friday morning to camp in Payson, Arizona, a mountainous region, and were expected to be home Sunday night, according to their Facebook. mail.

“They haven’t come back, phones go to voicemail, locations aren’t available,” Shawna said.

‘They were prepared with lots of food, a propane heater and supplies. This was a well thought out trip.’

Shawna also said her niece, Korie, is an experienced camper.

“They have experience and that’s why we let the girls go,” Shawna said.

“I choose to believe that they are trapped somewhere and waiting to be found.”

James Gilmore, Tenaya and Hannah’s father, told DailyMail.com that Korie and his partner Shelby go camping in the mountains at least once a month.

Authorities have not confirmed where the four women were headed.

The Mesa Police Department has alerted six different agencies to help find the missing women.

Leila Woodard, a friend of the Gilmore family, said one of the women’s credit cards were used at a Circle K on Sunday, something police are currently investigating.

Woodard also clarified that the women planned to engage in “dispersed camping,” or setting up their camp outside of a designated campsite.

They were last seen in a red Kia Sportage, model 2008, with license plate BYA7LR and decorated with bumper stickers.

Authorities do not know what the women were wearing before they disappeared.

The two teens have been diagnosed with autism and/or anxiety, according to police.

Anyone with information about the family is asked to contact Mesa police.
