A former model has dumped her New York restaurateur husband for the founder of Zadig & Voltaire, the husband of her identical twin sister — and her heartbroken sister is said to have taken up with her estranged husband for revenge, according to a report.

A source told Page six the rumor exchange started during the pandemic when ex-model Charlotte Bonstrom, 50, cheated on 20-year-old husband Vittorio Assaf.

Charlotte is said to have started an affair with Thierry Gillier – the 62-year-old founder of the luxury fashion house Zadig & Voltaire and the husband of her own sister and former model Cecilia Bonstrom.

Assaf, the 62-year-old founder of the famous New York restaurant chain Serafina, and Charlotte have two children together.

Meanwhile, Cecilia and Gillier have a son Emil and three children from their previous relationships.

They continue to work together at Zadig & Voltaire, where Cecilia has been the artistic director since 2006.

The company’s website describes Cecilia as “the other half of Zadig & Voltaire” whose style “plays in perfect balance for founder Thierry Gillier.”

Now there are also rumors that Cecilia and Assaf have become an item.

Assaf confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday that he is divorcing his wife because she wants to marry her sister’s husband, Gillier.

“Charlotte and I are getting a divorce – she wants to remarry,” he said on Wednesday.

‘[She] is going to marry Thierry Gillier, her sister’s ex-husband.’

Assaf denied any romance between him and Cecilia.

“It’s very difficult, but I have nothing to do with Charlotte’s sister,” he insisted.

It’s not clear when exactly Gillier and Charlotte started cheating on their respective partners, though it would have been sometime during the pandemic.

The source told Page Six that Charlotte had “secretly dated other people” because she was “hurt” that Assaf “spent time with models during their marriage.”

Cecilia was then said to have learned of her sister and husband’s double betrayal last March, with the source saying “it broke Celia’s heart.”

She tagged her husband and sister in the post along with the hashtags “#thanks” and “#warrenbuffet.”

Two days later, on March 15, she posted a close-up photo of her own red eyes with the hashtags “#momentoftruth #iknowwhoiam #nolies.”

She shared another post the next day that read, “Adulthood is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self-esteem, values, morals, or self-esteem.”

Neither her sister nor her husband appear in any of her Instagram posts after this date.

Cecilia regularly posts photos from fashion shoots with Zadig & Voltaire and another source tells Page Six that the divorced spouses both still work for the label.

“I don’t know how that will turn out,” they said.

“You’d think there were other men around than your twin sister’s husband.”

The source said they don’t think the identical twins will ever reconcile their relationship.

Last February, just a month before the alleged affair came to light, Cecilia and Gillier released fashion Bible Fashion a tour of their home in Paris.

Meanwhile, Charlotte set up a GoFundMe last March to raise money on Assaf’s behalf after Serafina restaurants were closed indefinitely due to the pandemic.

Assaf co-founded Serafina with Fabio Granato with the opening of his first pizza restaurant in New York City. It has now expanded across three continents.

Attempts by DailyMail.com to reach Assaf, Charlotte and Cecilia by phone for comment Wednesday night failed.

Charlotte declined to comment on Page Six, saying, “This is my private life. You can write whatever you want. I have two kids in the middle, and I care more about them than the New York Post.”
