Joe Biden’s granddaughter Natalie stepped out with her boyfriend for the first time last night at a lavish state dinner at the White House.
The 19-year-old posed for photographs arm in arm with fellow student Rafael Hajjar, who attended the best schools in London before continuing his studies in the United States.
Brainbox achieved stellar exam results at Wetherby Senior School and Latymer Upper School, before undertaking short maths and engineering courses at King’s College London, the University of Westminster and MIT.
His LinkedIn indicates that he is headed to the University of Pennsylvania as Miss Biden, but it is unclear if he is still enrolled.
His previous academic awards include gold Olympiad awards in physics and mathematics, and he currently focuses on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Hajjar attended the best schools in London before continuing his engineering studies in the United States.
Hajjar opted for a traditional tuxedo and looked calm and relaxed at the red carpet event.
Miss Biden looked elegant in her white dress as she attended the lavish function in Washington.

A keen sportsman, he was part of his secondary school’s Rugby 1st XV senior leadership team and was also captain of the Football 2nd XI, whilst speaking French, Spanish and Arabic as well as English.
In addition to his large family, President Biden and his wife Jill welcomed the President of Kenya to the White House for this glamorous occasion.
Several other Biden family members in attendance included his granddaughter Naomi and her husband Peter, as well as Finnegan Biden.
Melissa Cohen, Hunter Biden’s wife, walked the red carpet alone and did not respond when asked where her husband was. Hunter is on the guest list for the event and was seen sitting next to his wife at the dinner.
It was Miss Biden’s first state dinner and a chance for the president to rally his supporters.
Other guests joined the event, including singer Don McLean and his young bride. McLean, 78, is 48 years older than his girlfriend Paris Dylan, 30. The American Pie singer was proud to be at the lavish state dinner with his young partner and asked photographers to take a photo .
Dylan wore a hot pink tuxedo-style jacket as a dress, showing off her long legs.
The Bidens are hosting their largest state dinner to date, welcoming 500 guests to the event for Kenyan President William Ruto and his wife Rachel. The first couple greeted their guests on the north lawn. Jill Biden wore a hand-embroidered sapphire blue evening dress by Sergio Hudson. Rachel Ruto wore a silver dress in traditional Kenyan style.
And Barack Obama made a surprise visit to the glass pavilion on the South Lawn where the dinner was being held.

British actress Michaela Coel wore a stunning red dress by a Sudanese designer. She said it was a gift from a friend who used it as a wedding dress.
‘It’s from a Sudanese friend of mine. “He wore it at his wedding and gave it to me,” he said.
‘I am very excited. “This is my first time in Washington,” Coel added. “The closest I’ve been to this is the musical Hamilton.”
