Furious football fans have lashed out on social media before and during the first quarter of the AFL grand final, claiming the coverage on 7 Plus is not good enough.
Several fans have expressed their displeasure at X, as the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions chase premiership glory.
‘Can’t Channel 7 afford Full HD (high definition) for the game broadcast?
“It’s 2024, only now you can stream it and it’s still like we’re in 2012 watching a pixelated mess.” tweeted one.
Another posted: ‘Anyone else having problems with the 7Plus app? It seems like 7 other channels are working but not football?
A third intervened with: ‘The sooner the AFL grand final moves to Foxtel, the better.
“The coverage is so disgraceful and disgraceful.”
A fourth was even more brutal, making his feelings known in X.

It comes as more than 100,000 fans gathered at the MCG for the decider.
Pop star Katy Perry wowed the crowd after singing some of her classic songs, while Cody Simpson showed off his prowess by singing the national anthem.
It comes just months after Simpson failed in his bold attempt to represent Australia at the Olympic Games in the pool.
