An unassuming cafe in an inner-city suburb of Sydney is attracting the attention of foodies for its “out of this world” sandwiches.

Salumeria Norcino has racked up dozens of five-star reviews since opening in May last year, with one visitor saying he could “rant and rave” about his experience “all day long.”

Burgers are also on the menu, and one person said the Blackmore Waygu beef burger with fresh tomato and truffle mayonnaise was “potentially the best they’ve ever had.”
For those with a sweet tooth, there are a variety of delicious bakery delights including the Italian bombe donut, Italian cornetta croissant and Roman Maritozzo brioche filled with whipped cream, chocolate or custard.

Another said Salumeria Norcino serves the “best Italian food in town” and a third said it was the “definition of a hidden gem.”
“An unpretentious, humble and delicious Italian restaurant (that is still relatively undiscovered and has not yet circulated on social media),” they wrote.
‘I have been here three times and I have not been disappointed at all. All the cold cuts and cheeses we tried were to die for, as were the dry-aged steak and pastas.
