Floyd Mayweather is about to make his UK debut when he takes on Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers in a boxing show tonight.
Mayweather, who had a professional record of 50-0, was supposed to fight British kickboxing star Liam Harrison for the event, but the 37-year-old had to pull out due to injury.
Since retiring from professional boxing in 2017, Mayweather has participated in several exhibitions.
‘Money’ last fought in November when he defeated YouTube star KSI’s brother Deji Olatunji via TKO in the sixth round.
But while his opponent is known as a Geordie Shore star, he’s not new to the fighting game. Chalmers has seven professional MMA fights to his credit – with his last fight coming in 2020.

With Mayweather fighting in the UK for the first time in his career, ‘Money’ is looking forward to clashing with Chalmers.
“I was originally supposed to play against a different opponent, but injuries happen and I’m glad Aaron Chalmers was able to step up so we could give the fans what they want,” said Mayweather.
“The fans in the UK have always been great to me and supported me throughout my career, so an event like this has been a long time coming.
‘I am delighted to add more history to the O2 Arena in London.’
