As temperatures rise and the sun shines brighter, there’s no better way to beat the heat than with a cool, creamy milkshake.

And Five Guys fans are in for a treat, as the American fast food franchise has added a touch of summer sweetness to its British menu with the launch of two new milkshake flavors.

The new Mango and Raspberry Summer Milkshakes join its already extensive milkshake menu – but fans need to be quick, as the additions will only be available for a limited time.

The new Mango Shake combines the sweetness of mangoes with Five Guys’ signature creamy milkshake base.

For its part, its Raspberry Shake is described by the chain as “more spicy and invigorating”.

Five Guys fans are in for a treat, as the American fast food franchise has added a touch of summer sweetness to its British menu with the launch of two new milkshake flavors.

According to Five Guys, the new Raspberry Shake “perfectly combines sweet fruit with the burger chain’s creamy vanilla base for a classic wave-style milkshake perfect for summer sipping.”

Both Raspberry Mango shakes are now available to buy in a standard size at the bargain price of £5.95.

Customers can dine in or take away from any Five Guys restaurant in England, Scotland and Wales.

They can also order via UberEats, Just Eat and Deliveroo for home delivery.

The two latest additions join Five Guys’ existing lineup of 11 mixable flavors, giving customers more than 1,000 ways to fully customize their shake from the existing ingredient list.

The new Summer Shakes can be enjoyed alone, together, or paired with any of Five Guys’ mixes, including Oreo, Biscoff, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Banana, Salted Caramel, and even Bacon.

Like the Pistachio mix-in they replaced, these mix-ins are limited edition, so they won’t be around forever.

News of the new shakes comes after Five Guys revealed the real reason behind its huge portions of regular fries last year.

Five Guys has long mystified and delighted diners by placing a small pile of seemingly free extra fries at the bottom of its takeout bags.

For years, the fast food favorite – which has 1,700 customers worldwide – claimed it was simply nicer than its competitors.

Speaking in 2016, Five Guys chef Chad Murrell said: “I won’t name names, but other restaurants just don’t give a satisfactory amount of fries.”

But even though it seems like a gift, is it too good to be true?

Some cynics believe it’s a way of tricking customers into thinking they’re getting good value for money, but that the cost of the extra fries is already factored into the price. However, the chain simply claims to be generous.
