Kayla Itsines is off to a less than stellar start through 2025.
The fitness guru, 33, revealed this week that she experienced a health scare that led to her being hospitalized.
Alongside a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, Kayla revealed that she had been suffering from some scary symptoms.
He said he couldn’t speak properly, had trouble focusing his eyes and had a headache that felt like his “brain was going to explode.”
The post was shared again by the Instagram account Influencer Updates with Amber Paul.
A second image was a photo of Kayla smiling at the camera while wearing a pair of white headphones.

“Now, that should be right, dude,” he captioned the second image.
“I think @kayla_itsines is saying she was hospitalized with these symptoms and it turns out her period was coming up,” Amber captioned her new post.

Kayla’s recent trip to the hospital comes after she recently celebrated her husband Jae Woodroffe’s 34th birthday.
She shared a series of snippets of herself with her boyfriend along with a sweet message on Instagram.
The post featured a lovely video of the couple dancing at their wedding ceremony in Adelaide.
Other sweet photos included the couple posing with their son Jax and Kayla’s daughter Arna, who she shares with ex-fiancé Tobi Pearce.
‘Happy birthday to my Husband… 30!! .. again… for the fourth year in a row. I love you so much!!!’ she wrote.

Many excited fans gushed over Kayla’s touching tribute and wished Jae a happy birthday.

Kayla and Jae married in December 2023 after a two-year engagement, but their fairytale romance first blossomed under unusual circumstances.
From reuniting just months after dumping their respective exes to Kayla’s subsequent fight with Jae’s ex-girlfriend, things weren’t always so simple.
Kayla debuted her relationship with personal trainer Jae on September 26, 2021, when the couple was seen packing on the PDA outside a kebab shop in Adelaide.
The sighting came just weeks after Kayla split from her ex-boyfriend, a cameraman known only as ‘Mitch G’.
Earlier that month, ‘Mitch G’ was photographed packing his personal belongings into a moving van outside Kayla’s home, confirming that their brief relationship was over.

Coincidentally, Jae also moved on with Kayla shortly after splitting from his ex-girlfriend Lauren, who was also close friends with Kayla.
Jae and Lauren are believed to have started dating in 2016, as indicated by lovey-dovey Instagram photos posted by Lauren at the time.
The last photos of the former couple together were uploaded on May 23, 2021, after a night out with a group of friends that included Kayla.
A group photo taken during the outing even shows Kayla, Jae, and Lauren posing side by side.
Kayla and Jae debuted their romance four months later. Daily Mail Australia does not suggest either party was ever unfaithful.
Kayla declined to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia, but her spokesperson Sara Bergstrom said the ‘media narrative’ suggesting Kayla and Lauren fell out over Jae ‘was false then, and remains false now.’
