FEMME has been known to set the scene on fire ever since her latest music video and single, Fire with Fire, came out on the heels of her critically acclaimed album “Debutante” in 2016.
But the other scene-stealer at the star-studded event was the all-new baby Jaguar E-Pace that catapulted into the record books on Thursday, at ExCel London.

Actress Sienna Miller was among the stars at this evening’s launch party at London’s Excel Center in the Docklands, reunited by radio DJ Nick Grimshaw with music by Pete Tong and celebrity guests including David Gandy, Alexa Chung, Jamie Winston, Vicki McClure and Hugo Taylor.
The audience saw first-hand what Jaguar can do, if you have a stunt driver of course.
Its latest model launched with a 15 meter 30 centimeter barrel roll and saw famous stunt driver Terry Grant break a new world record for the longest barrel roll in a production vehicle.

Jaguar hopes that this practicality, combined with razor-sharp design and performance, will be enough to steal buyers away from its premium German rivals, who have scored hits with the Audi Q3, BMW X3 and Mercedes GLC—and plan to keep the small SUV coming. In keeping with the family’s credentials, the engineers and designers dubbed the E-Pace “Cub,” and it even sports a few Cub trims, like the ones that pop off the side mirrors.
Mr Hicks said: “The new E-Pace will appeal to a whole new audience that is younger and will see more women.
In the past, the Jaguar was seen primarily as a men’s car. All this is changing. The gender and age balance is changing and will change even more with this car.

FEMME released their new single “Fire with Fire” on July 2nd followed by a rousing video at a vintage diner, directed by Ben Mahon as two patrons in cauldron suits go to battle in a chili eating contest.
Like most of my best ideas, they usually come to me in the middle of the night deep in a cheese dream. With a habit of cooking big ideas around DIY budgets, I knew we had to find a clever way to get the heat into a video.
With that in mind, we’ve come to this miserable chili-eating competition. Director Ben took that initial idea and worked with it and I think together we’ve realized one of my best videos to date.”
“The song is about choosing a fight and being up to the challenge, letting the world know you’re not about to fall apart — it’s sassy and a little twisty. Just like this video.”
The track is a brassy, garage-infused tune reminiscent of Sweet Female Attitude or T2, FEMME comments, “‘Fire With Fire’ is about taking a challenge and choosing to fight. It celebrates adapting to your fears, staring straight into a barrel and telling the world you’re not about to go broke” .

Pop Idol: FEMME burst onto the scene with the release of her debut album ‘Debutante’ last year
“Fire With Fire” sees FEMME return to her indie and electro roots and denotes a pop star who has embraced all aspects of her talent and is in complete control. “I keep pushing myself to go somewhere new,” she explains.
“My writing process is to start with a beat, program a bass line… My production is so intertwined with my writing process, I wouldn’t be able to do it in that driver’s seat. It’s just that I’m flexing my muscles in a different direction.”
The track is the first single to be taken from FEMME until their untitled second album, which is set to be released in early 2018. Until then, there will be more singles and several live performances, most notably a headlining show in Heaven on December 6th.
“Fire With Fire” is now out on Tape Music. buy on Itunes.
