A federal judge’s son was shot and her husband was seriously injured after being attacked at home by a gunman dressed as a FedEx driver.

The attack happened on Sunday evening at the home of Esther Salas, an Obama-appointed District Court judge in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

Daniel Anderl, the judge’s 20-year-old son, was murdered, the New Jersey Globe reported.

63-year-old Mark Anderl is reportedly in a critical condition in the hospital

Judge Salas was unharmed in the attack, The Globe reported.
