Fearne Cotton admitted she is “very grateful to be healing” as she showed off her scar just weeks after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumors from her jaw.
The TV host, 43, revealed earlier this month that she was about to go under the knife, just days before surprising fans by announcing her separation from husband Jesse Woods after 10 years of marriage.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Fearne shared snaps of her scar as it improved after surgery, saying it was now “barely noticeable.”
She captioned the post: ‘The human body is amazing. In less than three weeks you can barely notice where the tumor was removed. I feel almost normal. “My ear is still pretty numb and my face is a little sensitive, but other than that I feel fine.”
‘Swipe only if you want to see the gradual stages of healing. “It’s not terribly gruesome, but it certainly looks worse than photo number 1. I found the whole process fascinating and am very grateful that the operation went well and that the tumor was benign.”
‘My surgeon, Professor Oflynn, made me feel extremely calm and all the nurses were complete angels. Nurse Jackie was especially amazing while I was in the hospital telling me to put down the phone and take a nap etc. “Sometimes I needed a firm reprimand.”

‘I feel grateful because I am recovering well and I will always wear this scar with pride. A reminder to slow down and take care of myself.”
Before the surgery, Fearne gave no indication of her marital problems, telling her followers: ‘Hey gang, I’ll be out of action for a while due to surgery. A while ago I felt a lump under my ear on my jaw, but this year I noticed it was growing.
‘It turns out that it is a benign tumor and another small one on top of it in the salivary gland. I feel positive about all this and will take the opportunity to rest and slow down the pace.
‘If you feel a lump or lump or feel like something is a little wrong, always go get it checked out. I’m so glad I did, because the longer you leave these things, the more complicated they become.
‘It’s obviously so strange that just a couple of months ago Davina told me about her tumor and weeks later I called her after having discovered mine. Not only am I lucky that she is a very good companion, but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to these things.
‘Sending you all lots of love and see you soon.’
He later posted an update: ‘The operation went very well. Recovering and resting. Thank you very much for all the kind messages.’
Breaking his silence on the division On Caroline Hirons’ podcast, which was released on Monday, Fearne spoke about the “toxic pressure that a woman can have it all.”

After a stressful few weeks of health problems and a divorce, while also running a business, Fearne admitted: “The pressure is immense.”
She said: “There’s a lot of pressure on women to prove themselves, that we can run businesses, I’m trying to do the same with Happy Place.” But if we’re honest, the pressure is immense.
‘I imagine that you (Caroline) are like me, there are many things I would like to do, many goals.
‘I want to grow and expand in many ways, but I don’t want to feel exhausted and stressed and not be able to be present at my family’s house, (I want to) spend time with my friends, have fun.
“There’s still this kind of toxic trope that women can have it all that people believe.”
Fearne shares her son Rex, 11, and daughter Honey, eight, with Jesse, 48, and is also stepmother to her children Arthur, 21, and Lola, 18, from her first marriage.
In the statement revealing the split, Fearne told fans that her priority was her children.
She posted on Instagram: “It is with a heavy heart that I let everyone know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been and always will be our children.
“We ask that you respect our family’s privacy at this time.”
It comes after Fearne feared for her marriage for some time before announcing the couple’s split.
Friends of the couple told The Mail that Fearne and Jesse had feared for their marriage for some time.

Jesse is the son of Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood (pictured together in 2011, when Fearne and the musician began dating).
It emerged that the couple had been facing challenges for several years, with Fearne previously admitting that their marriage had been “suffering” since 2019.
Speaking at the time, Fearne said Jesse’s demanding schedule with his band Reef had put a strain on their relationship, leaving them “desperately clinging to their marriage” in an unearthed interview.
The couple’s problems finally came to a head with a two-hour “screaming match” in which they feared “their love was gone.”
The anchor candidly told readers in her column Red Magazine: “Love requires hard work and no one wants to hear that.”
She continued: ‘This year, Jesse and I went through a rough patch: he was away, touring non-stop (with his band, Reef).
“I was trying to maintain my own career while taking care of our children and we were both desperately clinging to our marriage.”
After the lengthy fight, which took place in a local park, the couple broke down in tears, but the former Top Of The Pops presenter credited her husband’s emotional side for being so honest with each other.
He added: “In the midst of this gigantic dispute, I think we were both wondering where the love had gone and worried that it might not come back.”

The news comes just three days after Jesse’s band, Reef, announced they would tour again in 2025 to celebrate their 30th anniversary.
They will be touring the country starting in Nottingham on October 16 and finishing on November 8 in London.
Fearne previously confessed that the pandemic ended her and her husband’s sex life in an unearthed podcast.

When asked where they would go for a romantic trip abroad, he confessed that the couple were struggling to spend time alone with just the two of them.
‘We haven’t had any alone time due to the ridiculous pandemic, but before all this madness, Paris was our destination.
‘Not every weekend, maybe once a year. But it felt very special because it is very elegant and beautiful.”
‘It just has a beautiful air to it, doesn’t it? I love being there.’
