BREAKING NEWS: FDA and CDC will call to pause Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine

The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control plan to require the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine to be discontinued in the US after six women develop blood clots.

The two federal authorities will stop using the vaccine in federal locations and will urge states to do likewise, the report said. New York Times

Seven million people in the US have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine – the six recipients who developed the blood clots were between the ages of 18 and 48.
