‘I would do the same!’ Fans come together to support Mishel Karen from Married At First Sight while spraying disinfectant apartment after Steve Burley wakes up with “crook belly”
Steve Burley had to win Mishel Karen’s closest and dearest during a family lunch during Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight.
But after he woke up with a ‘crook’, the protective mother did not want to leave him anywhere near her daughter Eva.
Fans flocked to Twitter to overwhelmingly support Mishel as she sprayed every inch of their apartment with disinfectant and “quarantined” Steve.

“Don’t worry Mishel, I would do the same LOL,” tweeted a woman sharing a GIF from a famous germophobe, Sheldon Cooper, from The Big Bang Theory.
While another said, “Mishel, I am a teacher when the children are sick.”
“Mishel Glen-10ing everything Steve has touched is a shower,” another fan added, before a fourth commented, “I love Mishel. That’s all,’
No chances: fans overwhelmingly supported Mishel to clean up the apartment with a teacher who admitted she did the same at her workplace
Once Steve was allowed out of his isolation, Mishel’s daughter Eva pulled him aside for a frank discussion.
She started questioning him about his relationship with her mother and he confessed that he would like to see his “wife” more vulnerable.
But Eva explained that it was a defense mechanism and said to Steve: “Mommy was in a lot of pain. We have not had a good life. “
Eva became emotional and explained that her father had cheated her mother, so Steve tried to comfort her.
“Mama is hurt a lot”: Mishel’s daughter Eva (left) pulled Steve aside to tell him that it was difficult for her mother to open up because she had been cheated in the past
“She has been injured by so many men and it is very difficult for her to open up to a new person,” she confessed in tears.
Clinging to Eva’s hand, Steve assured her that he only had the best intentions for Mishel, and eventually won her.
“Yes, I am a crawling animal, but in the end my heart is in the right place,” he said.
He added, “I wouldn’t be here with Mishel now if I didn’t think she was worth it in the end.”
Married At First Sight will continue on Channel Nine on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.
