Toni Kroos and Vinicius Junior gave opposite treatments to their respective Real Madrid teammates, Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham, when they faced each other in international matches.

Kroos’ Germany comfortably beat Tchouameni’s France 2-0 in a friendly in Paris thanks to goals from Florian Wirtz and Kai Havertz.

Bellingham and England lost at Wembley when 17-year-old Endrick scored in Brazil’s 1-0 victory.

Tchouameni received a strong tackle from Kroos, who seemed to have not taken into account his Madrid affiliation.

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr stood by and appeared to have laughed when Bellingham tried to avoid him.

Fans took notice of the incidents on social media and many saw the funny side, with some joking that there are “two types of teammates.”

Someone said about Kroos’ seriousness: “Germans don’t know how to stay in the middle, they always choose a side.”

Another jokingly claimed that the German took out Tchouameni in an attempt to get ahead of him in the decisive Champions League clash against Manchester City in ten days’ time.

He wrote: “Kroos eliminates competition in midfield so is guaranteed a start against City.”

A third added: “Kroos takes every game seriously.”

The quartet has done well this season at club level for Real, who are on course to win the LaLiga title this season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s team leads the standings with an eight-point advantage with nine games remaining and is also qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
