Gisele Bundchen was told to “have a sense of humor” after she expressed her disappointment over The Roast of Tom Brady on Sunday.
During the live Netflix event, participants naturally gravitated toward Brady and Bundchen’s divorce while criticizing the seven-time Super Bowl winner. Some brought up Bundchen’s relationship with her Jiu-Jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, and claimed they had an affair prior to her divorce from the quarterback.
After the three-hour special, a source said Page six that the supermodel was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on the Sunday night roast show.”
On Wednesday, an anonymous source told Page Six that all of the jokes were “funny” and noted that Bundchen needs to have a sense of humor.
While jokes about Brady and Bundchen’s children were considered off-limits, the source added that the retired NFL star and other participants had no idea what would be said about them. However, as with any barbecue, they would focus on public parts of each other’s lives.

Bundchen and Brady were together for 16 years, married for 13, and had two children before divorcing in 2022. The split came after Brady retired to play one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
According to Page Six, the source noted that Bundchen was hurt because Brady was “once again putting football before his family.”
One of the jokes made at her expense during the Kia Forum roast was Kevin Hart suggesting that she had an affair with Valente while she was still married to Brady.
“Sometimes you have to screw your coach,” Hart joked. ‘Do you know who else fucked his coach? Giselle. “She fucked that karate guy.”
A production source told Page Six that Bundchen “shouldn’t have kissed his Jiu-Jitsu instructor in the middle of the street” if he wanted to keep their relationship private. The quote refers to Bundchen and Valente’s public display of affection in Miami in February.

The source added that it was “fair game” that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel’s new romance was used as anti-Brady material.
Bundchen wasn’t the only one of Brady’s exes to catch stray dogs during the Roast, as comedian Nikki Glaser addressed his breakup with actress Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with their son Jack in 2006.
While discussing Brady’s first and second retirements from the NFL, Glaser said, “It’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend.”
Brady and Bundchen’s teams did not immediately respond to Pag Six’s requests for comment.
