Sophie Turner gave fans a rare glimpse into her private life when she posted a series of images taken throughout 2024 to celebrate the end of the year, but many people around the web noticed the same thing about the photo dump.
The Instagram post contained numerous snaps showing the actress, 28, cuddling up to her boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson.
One showed her wrapping her legs around him as he lifted her, while another showed them sitting together on a boat as she looked up at him lovingly.
Other photos showed her skiing, partying with her friends and posing in front of some Egyptian landmarks.
But Sophie’s followers seemed to be focused on one thing: the fact that her two daughters, Willa, four, and Delphine, two, didn’t appear in the photo set at all.
The Game of Thrones star is extremely private when it comes to her children, whom she shares with ex-husband Joe Jonas, and previously said she “explicitly doesn’t want photos” of them.
But that didn’t stop social media users from flooding the comments section of their post with messages about not being included in their 2024 roundup.
‘And the children?’ one person asked.

‘And your daughters? You (fought) for them (with) Joe,” wrote another.
‘How about posting photos with your kids?’ someone else joked.
“Bad mother,” a fourth comment simply read.
Amid the negative comments, many of Sophie’s long-time fans came to her defense.
“People go crazy wanting pictures of their kids and that’s exactly why they keep them private,” one wrote.
‘The “childless?” “People need to scroll through their feed and see that they’re not posting on their social media, which is obviously a parental choice for their privacy,” someone else said.
“She’s so happy, I love that she protects her kids from the internet,” gushed another user.
‘It’s good to see her so happy and free. “She doesn’t owe anyone a look at her life as a mother,” a fourth comment read.

In May 2021, Sophie posted a scathing video to her Instagram Stories criticizing paparazzi for sharing photos of her daughter Willa.
“I guess yesterday, some paparazzi managed to take a photo of my daughter and me, and I just want to say that the reason I haven’t posted photos of my daughter and made sure that we can paparazzi at all costs is because I don’t “I explicitly don’t want those photos to come to light,” he said.
“She is my daughter, she did not ask for this life to be photographed.”
She called it “fucking creepy” and said the photographers “disgusted and disgusted” her.
Other photos showed her skiing, partying with her friends (left), and posing in front of some landmarks in Egypt (right).
Some Instagram users took to the comments section to criticize her for “moving on so quickly” with Joe.
‘I respectfully ask everyone to stop following us and stop taking pictures of my daughter and especially printing them. “It’s disgusting and you don’t have my permission,” he added.
Joe, 35, and Sophie split in September 2023 after four years of marriage, and then became embroiled in a nasty custody battle.
She accused him of refusing to hand over their daughters’ passports, and the former couple had major disagreements over where their daughters would live full-time.
While the actress wanted to take them to her native United Kingdom, the Jonas Brothers singer wanted to keep them in the United States.
The couple reached a temporary custody agreement in October 2023, which they announced in a joint statement after four intense days of mediation in New York.
“After productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in both the United States and the United Kingdom,” they said at the time.
“We hope to be great co-parents.”
Their bitter year-long battle came to an end last September when a judge granted the divorce after declaring their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”
Others left messages about the last image in the post, which showed Sophie lying on a sofa with her eyes closed as she changed into a silk nightgown.
The way the camera was positioned meant that part of her bottom seemed visible from under the dress, and people argued about it en masse.
Sophie was pictured kissing British aristocrat Peregrine, 30, a month after she and Joe split.
The mother-of-two’s new love interest is the eldest son and heir of Michael Pearson, the 4th Viscount Cowdray, a former film producer who owns a significant part of the Pearson media empire and is said to be worth $273 million.
Some Instagram users took to the comments section of her 2024 photo dump to criticize her for “moving on so quickly” with Joe.
‘People today change spouses like they change underwear. How sad,” one person wrote.
“How easily they get a new boyfriend,” someone else said.
‘How can you move so fast? I wish I could do that too,’ read a third comment.

The way the camera was positioned made part of her intimate area appear visible from under the dress.
“I don’t know how much nudity Sophie is comfortable with, but the couch photo is actually emotionally and physically revealing in ways that aren’t immediately noticeable. Are you really okay with that?” one person wrote.
‘Who sleeps like this?’ someone else asked, while a third responded: ‘Someone who likes to show their (vagina) lol.’
‘Does the last photo show us a lot?’ said a different user.
‘The last photo is very inappropriate. Those types of photographs should be kept private,” another added.
