Eurovision viewers were not very impressed with Olly Alexander’s performance during Saturday’s final, claiming his song was “off key”.
The Years and Years singer, 33, took to the stage to represent the UK as he performed his upbeat song Dizzy.
However, fans were quick to take to X, formerly known as Twitter, to complain that Olly’s voice was “weak” and he sang “off key”.
They wrote: ‘Olly Alexander can’t really sing live. The weakest vocals of all tonight’s entries…by far.’
‘Unpopular opinion, I don’t really rate Olly Alexander, this is bad, so bad…’

The Years and Years singer, 33, took to the stage to represent the UK as he performed his upbeat song Dizzy.
“What a horrible performance and don’t get me started on that off-key singing.”
‘I’m sorry, Olly Alexander, but this absolute rubbish, compared even to what has already happened…’
‘Oh. I wonder if Olly Alexander has considered a different career that doesn’t involve singing in one key?
“He was out of tune the entire song and just didn’t fill the stage like the other acts.”
However, some fans enjoyed the performance and told the singer that he “destroyed it,” including actress Hannah Waddingham, who wrote: “COME TO OLLY ALEXANDER!!! LET’S DO IT!!!! !!’
The stage was a feast for the eyes as it was transformed into a cross between a boxing locker room and an emotional cage.
Olly is hoping to break the Eurovision curse in the UK and take home the trophy following Sam Ryder’s success.
Twisting and writhing among his dancers, Olly gave it his all in red leather pants and an off-white vest.

An upbeat synth pop with, oddly enough, wedding bells in the background. Jumping on the EDM bandwagon, the Years & Years frontman gave an emotional performance and the crowd went wild.
However, Olly hasn’t had the easiest performance at Eurovision as he had a dramatic problem during the semi-finals.
The singer has spoken out about the moment his Eurovision semi-final performance went wrong last week, after sparking concern among fans over his ‘shaky’ voice.
Olly spoke to Lorraine last week about the ‘wardrobe malfunction’ she suffered, after fans heard her song Dizzy performed live in Malmö, Sweden, before Saturday’s final.
Unfortunately, things started to go wrong when Olly’s microphone pack slipped out of his pants and started hanging behind him.
The star then had to continue the performance while trying to grab the package, which no doubt contributed to the less-than-perfect vocals that some fans complained about.
Eurovision hasn’t been an easy road for Olly after he faced technical difficulties during the first Eurovision semi-final in Malmö, Sweden, last week.
Olly said: “I had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction and my mic pack fell off and I had to improvise, it’s live TV and it happens!”
‘The dancing is a bit naughty and the team is fantastic. It’s like the Olympics of music, it’s a fun and chaotic circus.
And he added: “This whole thing has been crazy, last night was incredible.” It was the first time she performed it on live television.
‘There is a lot of support from the other contestants, it has been the experience of my life. “I feel very lucky and privileged to be able to do it.”
“My mom saw it last night and it’s coming out tomorrow and she’s so excited.”
