Key worker in lockdown blasts coronavirus testing company after receiving Covid test results for ANOTHER person
- Kerri Rawsthorne was the only car in the Covid test center on Sunday
- She went to get tested before the Central West went into lockdown
- Tried to call NSW Health to resolve the issue but the number was not in service
A key worker has criticized the ‘f***ing muppets’ responsible for testing the coronavirus for sending her someone else’s Covid test results my mistake.
Kerri Rawsthorne was the only person in line for a coronavirus test in Orange, in the central west of the state, on Sunday morning – two days before the region was plunged into lockdown.
She got a text on Wednesday morning saying the test was negative, but the message was addressed to someone named Leila.

‘Having my Covid test done. Leila’s is negative. Have no idea about mine. What a waste of time,” one frustrated Mrs Rawsthorne wrote on social media.
“I tried to call the number they gave me, it’s not in service.”
The woman then tried to call the pathology where she got the test, but the answering machine said, “Sorry you called outside office hours, please call back after 7.”
Mrs Rawsthorne then wrote: ‘It’s 7:50 am, damn Muppets.’
She told the Central West Daily that when she got the test, the clinic wasn’t busy, there were no other cars, “and my name doesn’t even come close to Leila.”
Orange was thrown into lockdown on Tuesday after an infected pet food driver unknowingly gave the virus to a factory workerarbeid
“I don’t know if the tubes have been switched, I don’t even know what the switch is.”
“If I don’t get someone on the phone, if I don’t get the government on the phone, we might have a whole bunch of people who have the wrong information.”
Ms Rawsthorne explained that her faith in the government’s Covid testing system is gone.
A spokeswoman for NSW Health told Daily Mail Australia that the department is not conducting Covid testing in Orange.
“Covid testing in Orange is being conducted by private providers, not NSW Health,” she said.
The department told the Central West Daily that it is “working closely with private pathology to ensure turnaround times for receiving results are improved and throughput is maintained.”
“There is no delay in delivering positive results. As soon as a laboratory establishes a positive result, this is always immediately reported to the relevant GGD and/or referrer,” said a spokeswoman.
Gladys Berejiklian announced that NSW registered 124 new cases on Thursday morning, with a worrying 48 infectious in the community
The local government areas of Orange, Blayney and Cabbonne are now in day two of their seven-day lockdown after an infected pet food delivery driver made the trip to the regional area and infected a factory worker.
It marks the first time home orders have expanded to people in regional parts of the state.
NSW registered 124 new cases Thursday morning, with a worrying 48 infectious in the community and 57 yet to be linked to known clusters.
Greater Sydney is approaching a month of lockdown, with the current status set to remain until the previously announced July 30 shutdown – which will almost certainly be extended again.
