Fox host Erin Andrews jokingly called her podcast co-host and fellow NFL reporter Charissa Thompson a ‘bitch’ during an exchange on a recent episode.
The duo co-host ‘Calm Down with Erin and Charissa,’ where they discuss life within the NFL and discuss their hair care routines.
“My gray hair is crazy, so now I have to stroke those gray hairs all the time because I have brown hair,” Andrews explained.
—What gray thing? Thompson asked in response. ‘Can I say something? And maybe you’ll be mad at me for this. I don’t get gray hair.
Andrews replied: ‘Yes. I’m angry with you. You’re an idiot.’

Andrews made headlines earlier this month when, for the second time in as many years, she was accused of making something up while working an NFL game.
He was in Wisconsin on November 3 to cover a game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers.
It was a sloppy game in Green Bay, with cold temperatures and torrential rain at the start that continued throughout the game.
But a local meteorologist took issue when Andrews appeared to “make up” the conditions when he said there were 43 mile per hour winds and the possibility of thunder and lightning.
“Begging Erin Andrews to stop making up weather alerts,” meteorologist Sam Kuffel posted on X, formerly Twitter. He added: “Things like this make me irrationally angry.”
This follows last year’s controversy, where a resurfaced podcast episode showed Andrews allegedly admitting to fabricating information.

On another episode of ‘Calm Down,’ Thompson admitted that he made a report with former Lions coach Rod Marinelli.
“I thought, ‘Oh, coach, what adjustments are you going to make at halftime?'” Thompson said. “He said, ‘That’s a great perfume you’re wearing.'” I was like, ‘Oh (expletive), this isn’t going to work.’ I’m not kidding, I made a report.
Andrews responded: “I’ve done it too.” For a coach I didn’t want to tear down because he was telling me all the wrong things.
That statement sparked backlash, prompting her spokesperson, Jill Fritzo, to tell the New York Times: “Throughout her career, Erin Andrews has worked closely with coaches, players and public relations staff to ensure accuracy in their reports.”
