A luxury food influencer has come under fire on social media after sharing a video of himself dining at an all-you-can-eat lobster buffet in Las Vegas.

Mr Lewis Lux, who describes himself as a “luxury lifestyle connoisseur,” shared footage of himself indulging in the $79.99 buffet inside the Palms Hotel in Sin City.

Taking full advantage of the fact that it is an all-you-can-eat buffet, he is seen piling up multiple plates of lobster.

Due to the obscene amount of crustaceans on his table, an employee can be seen telling him that he’s already reached his limit and will only be able to get more once he eats what he has.

Lux can be seen questioning the man and saying, “To be clear, the rules are that I have to finish one plate before I go back to the buffet.”

The employee, visibly annoyed, continues: “For the lobsters, yes. We have a sign right there that says one per plate.”

He counters and adds, “But it doesn’t say you have to eat the dish before you come back.”

Another customer can be heard telling him it’s “common sense,” to which he replies: “I wasn’t even talking to you, who are you?”

In a voice-over as he pours melted butter over the fish, he continues: ‘The casino that’s taking all your money has a problem with me giving them all the lobster they can eat, so stop playing games with me.

‘The manager comes up to my table and says, “Umm, excuse me, are you going to eat all of that?”

“The rules said you could eat one piece per plate, so that’s exactly what I did. After all that, that lobster was ready.

“This deal is definitely worth it, but the way I was treated made me want to leave immediately.”

He is then shown throwing two plates of lobster into a trash can, while staff are heard shouting “you shouldn’t come back here.”

As the clip ends, he is seen throwing two plates full of lobster directly into a trash can.

The video has sparked outrage on social media and people are angry at his behaviour in the video and for wasting the lobster.

One person posted: “Did that motherfucker just throw away all that lobster? What the hell is wrong with him?”

‘He literally took perfectly good food and threw it in the trash. He sacrificed a living creature not to feed someone, but to get clicks for his TikTok.

“This is gluttony, narcissism and privilege on full display. Horrible.”

Another posted: “Disgusting! What an idiot. But the rules say you can’t eat. I can’t stand people like that. You’re not smart, you haven’t found a loophole, you’re a selfish idiot.”

While another said: ‘I can’t lie this time Lewis, you got it wrong! We know the casino is there to make money but wasting food like that is nothing!’

‘I would have interfered like that man too. It’s just common sense.’

While he hasn’t come out to defend his behavior, he has been sharing comments from people who believe his behavior was acceptable.
