England ‘call-up uncapped player’ after spate of injury withdrawals for Nations League double-header against Greece and Republic of Ireland

Aston Villa striker Morgan Rogers has received a first England call-up after being selected amid a catalog of injuries to key stars, according to reports.

The 22-year-old was one of the surprising omissions from Lee Carsley’s latest England squad after a brilliant start to the season with three goals in the Premier League and impressive in the Champions League.

Now, Rogers has received his first senior England call-up and will join the rest of the national team at St Georges Park, The Athletic reports.
