Emma Finucane has claimed her third medal of the Paris Olympics by taking bronze in the women’s sprint.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an excellent Games after previously claiming gold in the team sprint event and bronze in the women’s keirin.
This morning’s women’s sprint was a best of three between Finucane and her Dutch rival Hetty van de Wouw.
Finucane was in great form and claimed a 2-0 win to end his Olympic Games on a strong note.
The result also meant Team GB equalled their total of 64 medals from the Tokyo Games.

Three years ago in Tokyo, the British team won 22 gold, 20 silver and 22 bronze medals.
After Finucane’s latest medal, the total number of medals in Paris is 14 golds, 22 silvers and 28 bronzes.
This leaves them sixth in the medal table, behind China, the United States, Japan, Australia and France.
