“I said, ‘Are you enjoying this?'” she told Us Weekly. ‘I can’t get away with anything around them. … They run around the house and just tell me everything. If you want something, ask them, they’ll tell you all my secrets.’
Despite going off her weight-loss medication, Brooks managed to lose a significant amount of weight on DWTS, especially considering how petite she was at the start of trials.
“I lost a lot of weight, especially towards the end,” he shared, admitting that he lost between 10 and 15 pounds.
“I loved it, but I was also like, ‘I wasn’t toned,'” she said.
‘It’s one thing and then I toned up a lot, a lot because… it’s like, subconscious; you dance six hours a day and then when you finally get a moment to look at yourself in the mirror, you’re like, “Oh, wait a minute, okay. This is paying off in more ways than one, so I loved it.” that aspect.”
But after her DWTS journey came to an end, Brooks worried whether she would be able to maintain her flawless physique without the grueling rehearsal sessions.
“My first thought was, ‘Oh, shit. What is going to happen to my body?” he admitted.
He was worried about “gaining weight,” and even if he managed to keep the weight off, he feared his newfound muscles and definition would disappear.
Brooks admitted that he had regained some weight, but said a small amount was “okay.”
