She said People Magazine: ‘I’m still very good friends with Hugh, you know, we went through a lot of things together.
‘But I’ve been thinking, one of the most important things to maintain good relationships with your exes is to have a lot of respect for their current life. ‘
“I don’t think we’ve been romantically involved for 20 years, even though we have a very strong friendship, but we’re always very aware that there are other people in our lives.”

“I still go to him for advice on scripts, although he is very happily married with five children and I am very happy with my own life, there are still certain parts that we intersect very well.”
Elizabeth added: “And if he asks me for advice about work, he’s still my go-to person.”
