A male worker allegedly raped a 79-year-old female resident of an Adelaide retirement home three times in the past two months, police say.
The 47-year-old man worked in the same home in the southern suburb where he allegedly raped the older woman.
Police allege the man from the eastern suburbs of Adelaide sexually assaulted her three times in January and February.
Following an investigation by South Australian Police, detectives arrested the man on Friday, February 24, and charged him with three counts of rape.
A male worker raped a 79-year-old female resident of an Adelaide retirement home three times in the past two months, police say.
He was released on bail to appear before Christies Beach Magistrates Court on March 30, 2023.
The arrest comes after another case of an aged care worker in Western Australia faced three charges of assaulting women aged 71, 84 and 93 in care homes.
The alleged assaults took place between July 2022 and January 2023.
