Eden Hazard has claimed he has “no problems” with former team-mate Toni Kroos despite the Real Madrid star previously attacking the Belgian.

In June, Kroos dealt a brutal blow to the former teammate Dangerclaiming the star, who was earning £400,000 a week in Spain, “let his career die”.

The German’s comments came after Hazard ended his unfortunate four-year spell in Madrid and opted to terminate his contract early following his £88million transfer from Chelsea.

Despite Kroos’ comments, Hazard has insisted that there is no bad blood between the two and that the Real Madrid star remained a close friend of his.

‘No! He came to my house yesterday to pick up his children. No problem with that! See?! John Obi Mikel still talks shit to me and I’m still here doing his podcast. I don’t care man! People can think what they want.’

After failing to make an impact in the Spanish capital in June, Kroos targeted the Belgian during an impressive podcast appearance.

“We had another player who came for a lot of money and basically let his career die,” he insisted on his podcast. Einfach bad Luppen.

“It was a lot of money, I think everyone would say it wasn’t a good transfer.” But let’s be positive.”

During his four injury-plagued seasons at the Bernabeu, Hazard scored just seven goals in 76 appearances for the Spanish giants.

Hazard’s departure from the Santiago Bernabéu came just a week before Jude Bellingham completed his surprise move to Madrid.

Speaking about the England star, Hazard said: ‘Wow! What a player. I had the opportunity to talk to him a little because we took the same plane to go to the Ballon d’Or gala.

‘I saw him in Dortmund because he was playing with Thorgan, my brother! He was 18/19 and already special.’

Elsewhere in the podcast, Hazard has admitted his relationship with Jose Mourinho broke down during the coach’s disastrous last season in Chelsea.

Kroos appeared to be referencing the Belgian after he left the Spanish giants in the summer.

Mourinho returned for his second spell at Stamford Bridge in 2013 and won his third Premier League title with the club two years later, with Hazard playing a starring role for the Blues.

But Chelsea’s title defense went dismally wrong and Mourinho was sacked in December 2015 with the team in 16th place.

“The first two seasons were incredible,” Hazard said. ‘Remember that the first year, the team was new, so it was just the beginning. Then José’s second season we won the League and we won the League Cup.

“Then the third season was like teething problems, we lost games and in the end the relationship went a little bit.”
