PC Daniel Channer, of the Roads Policing Unit at the Hampshire Police said: ‘Mustafa was a prolific speeder whose constant insult and failure to respond to our correspondence resulted in a significant amount of time and effort being put into eventually locating. and stop him.

When you receive notification that your vehicle has been caught exceeding the speed limit, it is a legal requirement that you respond to advise who is driving the vehicle, and is a further violation if you fail to do so.

Speeding is also a major contributing factor to deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

‘Our message has always been simple – it’s not worth the risk. You endanger your own life, that of the people in your car, and that of other road users and pedestrians. ‘
