A man accused of mowing down a mother and her fiancé after an argument over dogs on Monday night posted a chilling message on his Facebook page saying ‘I’m going to stab you’ – as witnesses describe how the incident allegedly unfolded .
Mother-of-four Jodie Robertson, 42, and her partner Kurt Saunders, 41, were embroiled in an argument with neighbor Corey Porter, 29, at Cygnus Close, Doonside in Sydney’s west, just before 21 hours.
Mr Saunders was walking his dog in the street when he and Porter clashed. Things quickly escalated when Porter allegedly threatened Mr Saunders with an axe.
Mr Saunders returned home before he, Ms Robertson and her 18-year-old daughter confronted each other Take it home.
Mr Porter first left in his white Ford territory before returning later. WWitnesses say they saw the couple arguing with Porter while he was sitting in his white SUV.

Kurt Saunders suffered broken ribs, fractures to both legs and “severe” dislocations to his ankles.
The incident broke out after an argument with neighbor Corey Porter, 29, in Cygnus Close, Doonside in Sydney’s west, just before 9pm.
Neighbors told Daily Mail Australia they then saw Porter reverse and spin his SUV several times before heading towards them.
Neighbors claimed Ms Robertson was sent flying over the bonnet of the car and onto the pavement.
His partner was allegedly knocked down twice before Porter fled the scene.
“I’m still in shock,” Jacklyn Donaldson, 23, who lives next door to Porter, told Daily Mail Australia.
“We’ve never heard of any problems with any of them.
“Jodie’s 18-year-old daughter saw it all happen. We just heard him scream.
Ms Donaldson’s partner Ben Grace, 22, said the couple were in a “bad state”.
“She was bleeding from her head and shoulder and her leg was all bloody,” he said.

In an April 2023 post, under a photo of Porter in a suit, he added: “I will always win. I will not be beaten. You think you are winning but I will win the war.
“I made promises and believe me, I will keep them.”
Another neighbor said the fight happened after Corey Porter (pictured) was seen walking his dog earlier on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, NSW Police Detective Superintendent Darren Newman said Porter caused “significant” injuries to the couple before fleeing the scene, colliding with a tree in his path.
He got out of his car around the corner of his house and was heading towards the nearest train station when he was arrested.
Porter was charged Tuesday afternoon with using an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to a person, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, failing to stop and help after impact with a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm. bodily injury – dangerous driving.
“This particular incident highlights how horribly bad neighborhood conflicts can be,” Superintendent Newman added.
“These people have suffered lifelong injuries, the man in particular will benefit from significant rehabilitation for many years after what he went through.”
Ms Grundy suffered serious head injuries while her partner, who neighbors say rolled over twice, is fighting for his life with injuries to his head, chest and leg.

Mr Saunders suffered broken ribs, fractures to both legs as well as “serious” dislocations to his ankles.
He is undergoing surgery at Westmead Hospital while his fiancee is in a stable condition with bruising and head injuries.
Detective Newman said the mother’s 18-year-old daughter watched everything that happened.
“CCTV footage captured the audio of the incident and the scream that occurred immediately after impact was horrific,” he said.
“I can imagine she’s going to have ongoing trauma.”
