Similar comments were shared in response to former Trump strategist Steve Bannon’s victory remarks broadcast live from the rooftop of the Willard Hotel in Washington DC on election night.

“You stole the 2020 election, you mocked, you ridiculed, you imprisoned people and you broke people’s lives, because you said this was stolen,” Bannon said during his broadcast. “All this fake stuff is being eliminated. Biden is being swept. Kamala Harris is being swept. MSNBC is being devastated. The Department of Justice is being swept. The FBI is being swept. You guys stink and now you are going to pay the price for trying to destroy this country.”

“MILITARY COURTS WAIT!” someone responded in X. “I want to see the criminal walking,” another wrote. “Military executions are coming,” a different post said. “The new Department of Justice must use armed raids against Democratic Deep State homes! Drag their asses to the street, just like they did to our people!!

Many other social media posts seen by WIRED were deeply misogynistic in nature. The gender dynamics at play during this race were particularly stark: Harris promised to safeguard women’s medical freedom while Trump aggressively pursued a young male demographic that has become increasingly culturally conservative.

A viral meme that was shared widely across all platforms on Wednesday was captioned “LIBERATE PROJECT 2025 HAND COUNT RAPE SQUADS.” “BREAKING: Millions of women show up to work as maids after Trump’s surprising victory,” someone else wrote on Patriots.win. Some of these memes were also shared on the Telegram channels for the Proud Boy chapters.

Another person on Patriots.win shared an AI meme of Trump shirtless in a boxing ring. “First man in history to beat two women,” says the text of the meme. “He beats two women,” the sign said. “Considering women, I’m in favor.” Fort Wayne Proud Boys shared a graphic on Telegram, with a photo of Harris and the words “Projected winner; Whore of the year.”

Christopher Polhaus, known as “Hammer,” leader of the neo-Nazi group Blood Tribe, also applauded Trump’s victory. “Thank you Trump,” he wrote in WHERE?. “Cheaper gas will facilitate the spread of White Power throughout the country.”

Rude white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes weighed in on X. “Your body, my choice. Forever,” he wrote Tuesday night. He continued on Wednesday: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank the men for saving this country from stupid bitches who wanted to destroy the world to maintain abortion.”

Lauren Witzke, a far-right activist, shared an image on Telegram of Trump posting with a group of white male college students from the state of Iowa. “A big shout out to the men, especially the white men, who came out in force to put down women back in their place.”

In a post on “Women, let’s go back to the kitchen; Abortions, illegal; Gays, back in the closet; Interracial marriage, prohibited; Illegals, pack your bags; Transsexuals, back to asylums; “Jesus, back in our schools,” he wrote. “We’re so back.”

“They promised me shit from Hitler. I demand shit from Hitler,” someone else wrote on Patriots.win. “When did we start gathering all the gays into camps?” wrote another. “They told me this would happen.”
