Domino’s has unveiled the newest menu item – the cheese volcano.
Described as ‘grotesque’ by the restaurant’s spokesperson, the new $10 side takes Australia’s love of cheese and dedication to cob bread to a new level.
The dish is made of pizza dough, filled with mozzarella cheese and filled with ‘melted hot’ cheese.
It can be bought with or without a side of ‘dipping’ crinkle-cut chips.

Domino’s Chief Marketing Officer ANZ Allan Collins said it was just the beginning of inspired new products dedicated to all things cheese.
“We’re giving customers more of what they love by championing everyone’s favorite pizza topping like never before,” he said.
Domino’s Head of Product Development & Innovation Michael Treacy said the company had spent three years developing a tastier cheese that customers could only get at Domino’s.

“Cheese is a staple ingredient on every pizza, but it’s so versatile and loved that it can make any meal memorable,” said Mr Treacy.
Cheese seems to be the star of the show at the chain right now.
Domino’s has released Triple Cheese Bites, from $7 pickup, filled with melted mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan for delicious mouthful indulgence, as well as $2 extra cheese upgrades for any large pizza.
